Simon end Garfunkel si riunirono per un concerto gratuito al Central Park di
New York. 500.000 furono gli spettatori. Il concerto è noto come: The concert
in Central Park. Nel marzo successivo
uscì l’album. Durante il concerto un fan riuscì a salire sul palco e quasi
colpì Paul Simon.
